This place is unexpectedly good. The macho burger is much crispier than what you'd get at other fried chicken places and it is much tastier. I agree with the other reviews that the service could use some improvement, but I'll set that all aside since this place should be compared with other fast food restaurants
We go to this place every week. I love the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and chichken wings, chicken is crispy and tender!
I went here on a Saturday afternoon. Ordering is by self-service. But when i had problem with the machine the workers camera out to help me out. Very friendly and warm service. I ordered a spicy crispy chicken sandwich. It was really good, i have never tried this kind of chicken sandwich before. It is so delicious! Overall the food was amazing, workers are friendly!

Great Chinese style fried chicken burger, Orleans style was also faithful to the flavors at Shanghai McDonald’s and KFC. Lines have died down, don’t worry about the complaints from the other reviews
Great location - close to a lot of offices, so if you work nearby, this is a great spot for a quick lunch or early dinner. The inside is clean and there's a good amount of seating. The packaging is cute! The food is decently priced, but like a lot of fast food, you're still looking at $15 per person for sandwich + fries easily. The fry portions are good - better than you'll get at a lot of other places. Don't miss out on curly fries! The chicken sandwiches have nice portions - no flat chicken here! The breading is well done, but there was a bit of an old oil taste to them, which could have been leftover from the lunch rush, but hopefully isn't as strong on return visits. The regular crispy chicken doesn't have a lot of flavor, but the spicy chicken packs a little kick.
If you asked me what the best popcorn chicken place is, or the best chicken sandwich place is, I probably wouldn't answer Macho Burger for either question. However it is the best blend of the two. It's still fast food so it's pretty salty. Service was good. It's fast food so there isn't a lot of serving. Ambiance: the music is Chinese pop from the 2010s -- generally recent but not brand new. The Chinese equivalent of Katy Perry's prime.
For a fast spot, my expectations were blown out of the water by this joint. Definitely a go to spot whenever I'm around in Sunnyvale because their spicy chicken sandwich was so delicious! There's a self order kiosk in the front so I didn't get the chance to interact with any of the workers here. I ordered the Macho spicy chicken combo which came with a large drink and a buttload of fries! Easily a (5/5), you can tell the flavor on the chicken they use brings out the umami and it has an even coating of breading. My only feedback would definitely be maybe adding some pickles or anything pickled on the side to cleanse the pallet from the oil of the sandwich. The fries are nicely seasoned too with salt and pepper! Will definitely be back to try their truffle burger or their fish sandwich because these items also caught my attention! I had to try their most popular item and see what the hype is all about. 100% worth it, even tho this fast food joint is a bit pricier than other places.
